Plantar Warts

What is it?

Plantar warts are a viral infection on the skin of the feet, commonly associated with the human papilloma virus (HPV). Plantar warts can be painful when walking or might cause no pain at all.

Some things that may lead to planar warts are:

  • Broken areas of skin, especially wet or sweaty skin
  • Walking barefoot in public showers or swimming pools

How can Our Podiatrist help?
