Advanced gait analysis
Understanding How Your Foot Works While You Move
We use a special tool called plantar pressure mapping (it’s like a highly sensitive
mat or insole) to get a clear picture of how your foot is working when you stand,
walk, or run. It’s a quick and easy way to get objective, measurable facts.

What We Measure
This technology helps us understand key things about the forces going through your
foot:
- How much pressure there is: Is the force too intense or too little on certain
areas? - Where the pressure goes: Is the weight spread out evenly, or is it
concentrated in a small, potentially painful spot? - How quickly the pressure happens: Is the force hitting your foot too fast,
which can sometimes be a problem? - The movement of your foot: We can clearly see if your foot is rolling inward
(pronation) or outward (supination) and how the different parts of your
foot—the heel, arch, and toes—are moving together as you walk.
