Andrew’s story:
Andrew has been working in the Romsey, Riddells Creek and Sunbury area for a number of years now and is well known for his friendly, quality care. He enjoys all aspects of podiatry care and has a special interest in management of musculoskeletal, running, cycling and sports-related foot and ankle injuries.
He has completed his Endorsement of Scheduled Medicines pathway which means
he is now qualified to prescribe medicines such as antibiotics, anti-inflammatories
and corticosteroid injections, which he does under ultrasound guidance.
Andrew uses plantar pressure mapping to supplement his sound biomechanical
knowledge to identify pathological movement patterns and improve foot function and
pain with novel orthotic designs to suit the individual.
As a keen triathlete himself, Andrew knows the importance of keeping active and staying injury free. He combines his passion for sports with his sound understanding in biomechanics and orthotic therapy to help get you back on your feet.
Andrew is also a trained Diabetes Educator. He is passionate about diabetes and diabetes foot care. At the clinic we provide comprehensive assessment for all people with diabetes to ensure they maintain the best possible health. Prevention and early diagnosis is a focus of the clinic. We want all people with diabetes to be healthy from the feet up!
When Andrew is not looking after feet, he loves spending time with his wife and young family – and if time allows getting in a little bike ride or run.
